Jane's early career included the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Buenos Aires, Vogue, overseas recruitment and the model industry. In 1981 she joined John Hockey Associates, a recently established agency which represented the interests of sports broadcasters. During her many years at JHA, Jane's client group expanded to include footballers, athletes and rugby players. After a brief flirtation with the corporate hospitality industry, Jane returned to management in 1997 when she set up JMM, reuniting her with several of her former clients.
