Mike is a racing journalist, commentator and presenter working for Sky Sports Racing and Racetech. He previously worked as a presenter for Channel 4 Racing. He started his career with Timeform before moving to the national daily The Sporting Life. From 1989-1994 Mike served as jockey’s agent to Willie Carson and towards the end of this period began his broadcast career with racecourse commentating. He has co-authored two books about top jockeys, Joe Mercer – the Pictorial Biography and Nothing To Hide about Edward Hide.
